The sweetest thing just happened.  This afternoon I told the girls that the babies are big enough to hear voices when somebody talks to my tummy.  Just as I sat down to check email a moment ago, Kalyn came in and asked if she could sing a song to the babies!

She sang “Twinkle Little Star.”  Keali came in just after and sang the “ABC” song.  Then together they sang “Rock-A-By Baby” and a song from High School Musical 3.  They are so sweet, and I cried.  Both my girls have beautiful singing voices and I love hearing them.

This morning, I was hit with the realization that I am not enjoying this pregnancy.  With Kalyn, I was on Cloud 9 for 9 months.  With Keali, once the morning sickness went away, I was thrilled.  I’m certainly happy to be expecting, and excited about the thought of two.  I’m still just having a hard time.  I have every negative pregnancy symptom/side effect there is, and I’m not really getting to enjoy movement much yet.  I do feel them periodically, but I’m a bit irritated that even though there are two in there, I don’t feel them any more than I felt one.  I suppose that’s because they have extra room to move around, but still.  Not fair!  Hopefully, in a few weeks!

We find out genders next Friday and I am sooo excited to hear and see my babies again!  Note to self—check with Dr. to see if we can tape the ultrasound.

Today I woke up before everyone else, and enjoyed a little quiet time.  After waking up, we all got ready and went to Heath’s parents house so Heath could mow the lawn—his end of the deal after they watched the girls last night.  I read and played a little with the girls.  Then we came home and Heath, Kalyn, and Keali got ready to go to the water park.  I’m on duty so I can’t leave the booming metropolis that is Jonesboro, AR.  They had so much fun.  And again, Heath owes one of them money for bribing Keali to go down a four foot slide.  She actually chose to go down the 8 foot slide, so I think she should get $2.00.  Heath said it was a really nice park so I hope to be able to go with them at some point before the summer ends.

I put up the rest of the laundry Heath did yesterday and took an hour and a half nap!  Then I went to the store to pick up ingredients  for hash brown casserole (also known as funeral potatoes) and broccoli, cheese, and rice casserole.  By the time I got home, Heath and the girls were already hear and Heath helped me with the potato casserole.  It is done now, but I’m not hungry.  That is something that has always annoyed me.  I’ll be soooo hungry and I’ll make something.  But by the time it is done, I have no interest in eating it anymore.  It happens all the time.  Oh well…we have plenty for when I do want some.  Those are yummy!

Tonight is family movie night.  I’m told we are watching some version of The Incredible Hulk and I am less than thrilled, but Heath and the girls will enjoy it.

Remember how excited I was about a month ago to find some maternity cami’s to wear that efficiently covered my tummy?  They don’t work anymore.  Every thing I wear just rides up to the top of the bump (lets be honest…it’s more of a mountain).  I am constantly pulling my shirts down just to be modest.  The maternity jeans I LOVE and wore with the last two pregnancies (right up until I had the babies) are not working out so well anymore—especially since my cami’s aren’t covering everything.  At some point in the near future, I can see my only option being mumus.  Heath is going to shudder when he reads that!  HaHa!

Have you heard of a Belly band? my friends have used it and they LOVED it! I heard about them after I have Victoria but maybe you can look into those.
I hope you get to feeling good soon. I am so sick when I'm pregnant that I don't enjoy it as much as I should. Don't worry about it though, you will enjoy them plenty :-)
