The walls in the hallway and living room are taking 3 coats of paint!  Augh!  They look fantastic though so I'm not too stressed about it.  Today I am packing up the kitchen, then I will force myself to do trim in my room and Kalyn's so that I can move everything into them and start on Keali's room tomorrow.

I took a nap last night around 6 PM--I just couldn't stay awake any longer.  When I woke up (I didn't sleep well) I was sweating and it was very hot in the house.  I went to look at the thermostat, but remembered that I removed it from the wall to paint.  Stupidly, I didn't realize that disconnecting the thermostat would stop the air conditioner from working.  I swear I am loosing my mind.  Anyway, it was 85 degrees in the house!  No wonder I was so uncomfortable.

I finally gave up and went to bed around 11:30 last night and slept fitfully all night.  At one point I woke up and told myself I had overslept and scolded myself for loosing time.  I looked at the clock and it was only 4:30.  I hate those kind of nights!

I spoke with Kalyn and Keali last night.  They had just come back from swimming and were very tired.  I hope they slept well and got to bed at a decent hour.  Kalyn was a bit tearful as she told me about spilling mayonnaise on the floor.  Apparently Papaw got upset with her and broke her heart.  Papaw doesn't get upset very much with his grandchildren, so I imagine it took Kalyn by surprise.  I heard Mamaw in the background assuring Kalyn that Papaw still loves her, and scolding Papaw at the same time.  Funny.

Heath is sick--he always gets a sinus infection when he goes to Jonesboro.  Something about the air up there doesn't agree with him.  He had forgotten to take his medicine with him and by the time he bought some more, the damage was already done.  This should take a few days to get over, then I hope he will stay healthy.  I spoke with him this morning and he sounded awful.

Mom and Amanda might stop by on their way home from one of Amanda's doctor appointments in Little Rock.  FYI for those of you who don't live around here--Emma got accepted at some place in Little Rock, so Gail, Emma, and Eva are moving up the Little Rock.  Actually, I think that they already have.  This move should be really good for Emma since she will be getting very personalized care and education.  Gail said that when she picks Emma up from 'school,' Emma starts showing off everything she can do.  Sounds really cute.  I love those little girls and I wish that we could see them more often.

I am so thrilled that Emma got into Easter Seals! I think it's going to a world of good for not only her, but Gail and Eva too.
