I get to see my husband and kids today!  They should be here around 5 this afternoon and I can hardly wait.  I wish I could get the house looking nice for them, but it is really a losing battle!  At least I should be able to get it straightened up.

This morning I awoke bright and early to paint fascia!  I painted everything in the back of the house (outside) that needed to be painted.  The rest of the outside is going to have to wait until I have help.  The good news is that this weekend's weather is supposed to be beautiful with highs in the very low 90s. 

Andrea came over last night to help me.  She says I tricked her into painting, but I am almost positive I told her we would be painting.  I don't know.  Anyway, she is really good at cutting in ceilings!  We got the ceiling in Keali's room painted, and later I did the hall ceiling. 

You know how cute that chalkboard paint is?  You know...the paint you put on the wall and it turns the wall into a chalkboard?  We did that in Keali's room and it looked great.  The kids loved it too.  I will NEVER do that again.  It took 10 coats of primer to cover up.  10.  Never again.  This morning I will force myself to do the trim in Keali's room, and maybe I will also do some trim in the hall.  It would be nice to have that half of the house completed before people start showing up.

Heath, Kalyn, and Keali--I am so excited to see you!  I have missed you so much!  7 1/2 more hours!
