I am alone again. Friday evening, Heath and the girls rolled into town. About an hour later, we met up with Richie and Debi in Sheridan to eat at Cotija's--a REALLY yummy Mexican place. A few hours later, Heath's parents arrived.
We went to bed and woke up bright and early Saturday morning. Along with those who were already here, our Ward missionaries (4 of them) and my two sisters Amanda and Elizabeth and my brother Bryan arrived to help out. We got a lot done! The living room was painted and some things packed up and the kitchen was painted and a little packing took place in there too.
Richie and two missionaries put up gutters in the back of the house and replaced the column on the porch. Apparently the column serves no structural purpose and is only there for aesthetics. That's okay...it was ugly before and now it looks nice!
It was a long long day, but as I said, a lot was accomplished and my work this week will be that much easier now.
Thanks to everyone who helped out--and a special shout out to Richie and Debi who drove 5 hours for us (pregnant too!), and Amanda for sacrificing her feet in the name of freshly painted cabinet doors.
(L-R--Elizabeth, Bryan, Amanda, Heath, Keali, Mamaw-Julia, Papaw-Ronald, Kalyn, Me, Richie, Debi, Elder Christensen, Elder Rolley, Elder Byrd, Elder Fry) Apparently I had a paint mustache that nobody bothered to tell me about until right before the picture. I was a total mess!
