Yesterday our vacuum cleaner broke. I spent a couple hours trying to fix it yesterday, but couldn't get it completely open. I thought I knew where the problem was, but I just couldn't get the pieces off. For some reason the vacuum requires an allen wrench rather than screw drivers. I have plenty of allen wrenches, but I don't have one that is 3 inches long...like the size I needed! I guess that Bissell did this so that home handimoms couldn't attempt to fix the vaccum themselves. Just one more way for them to get your money.
Anywho, This morning I managed to pry just enough to fix the problem. Now the vaccum works again, but it has a nightmare loud noise when I turn it on. Maybe I just should have paid Bissell to fix it?! I just couldn't wait several days to vaccum the carpet.
Rain Rain Rain. It is raining today. I am okay with this, but even I have to admit that the humidity levels have definetly gone up (really...with the rain!) and the out of doors are very uncomfortable now. The worst thing about the rain is that the dogs are inside all day. They are confined to one room, but I prefer them to play outside for most of the day.
