Last night was an experience. When I went to bed I got the urge to snuggle with Keali. I couldn't stop thinking about snuggling her so I got up and picked her up out of bed. Unfortunately she obviously needed a diaper change so she woke up when I did that. She snuggled into me after the change and I held her for about half an hour, then she sang me a little song and snuggled into her Daddy. After a while longer, Heath asked me to take Keali to bed. I did and as I left her room she began to SCREAM and reach for me grasping her hands towards me. I shut the door and went back to my room. After 10 minutes I heard her scream, "I want my Mommy and Daddy!"
Well. I had to go get her. I held and rocked her and tried to get her back to sleep. When she decided to get up and play I decided to take her back to her room. It was absolutely heartbreaking. She was so sad and upset that I had abandoned her. I had to leave her though because I was exhausted. The moral of this story? Listen to my husband when he tells me that snuggling Keali will only wake her up and keep me awake all night.
It's supposed to rain again today. Hopefully I can get the laundry done!
