It has been a nice Sunday for us. We woke up with plenty of time to get ready for church. Our ward meets from 11:30 to 2:30. That isn't the best meeting time when you have small children. For one thing, that is right during lunch. For another, it is during nap-time. Keali got really tired during Sacrament Meeting. She generally doesn't fall asleep at church, but I took her to the mother's lounge and rocked her to sleep. That never happens! In her lifetime she has almost never fallen asleep in my arms. I love it when she does though. I turned her over to Heath after Sacrament Meeting so I could play piano for the primary. We had a nice Primary. Heath brought Kalyn in to pick me up and Kalyn was exhausted! She had a complete emotional breakdown on the way to the car and I just had to smile at the church members and hope that they could understand her situation.
We got home and got a phone call from Tim--Heath's brother. He, his wife Shannon, and another brother, Matt were driving by Benton on their way back to Jonesboro from Texas. They wanted to meet up and have dinner together. They stopped by and after my Mom stopped off to give me some stuff, we all went to Red Lobster in Little Rock.
Kalyn still hadn't had a nap and she was a bit uncontrollable. She was very very loud. Once, after I asked her to hold it down a bit, she actually pulled down her pants...and panties...and sat on the chair with a bare butt. I do not know why! I caught her almost immediately and fixed the situation. An older man came over to the table at the beginning of our meal and asked how old Keali was. I told him 14 months and he replied that he had twin grandsons in West Memphis that he doesn't get to see very much. He said they were going to see them next weekend. They are 11 months old.
When it came time for the check, our server came over and explained that we (Tim and Shannon were treating) only owed just over 3 dollars. We were all a bit confused...Red Lobster isn't really a cheap place to eat. He explained that the man who had come over earlier had left a hundren dollar bill to pay for our meal. He was surprised that we didn't even know the man. What a sweet thing to do! I have been present when somebody has done something like that for another person, but I have never been the recipient. It was a very touching gesture and one that I will never forget. I hope to someday be in a position to do the same for another group of people.

What a nice man!! One time when I was pregnant a little old lady came over and gave me a $20 and told me to go and buy something for the baby...I thought that was sweet but hey a whole table of people paid for...that was way nice!!
