25 Things About Me
1. I love being a Mom to Kalyn and Keali.
2. I love being a wife to Heath.
3. Since buying our house almost two years ago, we have yet to do a quarter of the things we wanted to do to it. It take so much energy and time! Not things I have to spare with two little girls!
4. I love visiting and spending time with family.
5. I love ALL things potato.
6. I am terrified of dogs. Funny that I have 3 isn't it?
7. I am scared of anything with more than four legs and most things with four legs.
8. I am a very jumpy person. I scare easily!
9. I am a really good reader, though I only really enjoy reading a few types of literature.
10. I have a twin sister who got all of the artistic talent God meant for both of us...I can't even draw a stick figure! She is a fabulous artist.
11. I have a B.S. in English Education and a M.S. in College Student Personnel Services, but I don't think that it takes brains to get a degree. It just takes time, commitment, and a desire to pay outrageous tuition fees. Grad school was easier than college for me.
12. I am finding it really hard to say 25 things about me.
13. I have a huge extended family that I never see. I know who each of them are, but I haven't seen any of them in years, and some I don't think I have ever met. I wish we lived closer.
14. I really want somebody to give my daughters some cousins to play with (so far they have Eva and Emma, but those two are a bit inaccessable). I am afraid that they will be so much older than their cousins that they won't ever get to play with them.
15. I am a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have not, however always been active. I was inactive for almost two years, but after some soul-searching and scripture reading, I was convinced that the LDS church was right for me and I have never regreted returning.
16. It makes me sad when people are discriminated against. I have had it happen to me on numerous occasions and try not to do it myself. I hate to see people mistreated.
17. I love cute stamps. Whenever I buy stamps, I ask to see a selection so I can choose the cutest ones. Too often though, our local post office only has the standard flag or bell.
18. I love shoes. I don't have an awful lot of them, but the nice shoes I have are really cute and I enjoy shoe shopping...it is about the only kind of shopping that I do like.
19. I have cried over my children's lack of interest in their hair. For the longest time, Kalyn refused to grow hers, and I was denied the pleasure of playing with it. Now that she has some, she won't let me play with it. It isn't fair! Keali at this moment is refusing to grow hers. Bummer.
20. I hate my teen years. I hated them while I was experiencing them, and I hate remembering them now. I was painfully akward and shy. I didn't have many friends, and some who claimed to be friends, were only fairweather friends. I don't associate much with anyone from those years. I was thought of (I believe) to be snobby and self-centered. What I actually was, was introverted. Being in large groups of people, or around those that I didn't know very well made me nervous (not social disorder nervous, but uncomfortable non the less).
21. I hate cleaning. I would rather just hire somebody else to keep my house in order, but that won't happen until I am independantly wealthy. I may be waiting for a long time!
22. I won the spelling bee in 5th grade for the whole school. So why is my spelling so bad now? Thank goodness for spell check!
23. I won the geo-quiz in 4th grade for the whole school. Okay...I still know the location of most countries, but geography is extremly boring for me.
24. I went through that most important stage for every girl. I loved a boy band. There. I said it.
25. I love to cook fancy food...but it never comes out right and when I finish, I have no appetite to eat it. Heath hates my fancy food and the girls take after him, so I don't really do it very often.

Go to usps.com and register for an account and you can shop for super cool stamps and have them shipped to your house for only $1! The stamps cost more than that of course, but the shipping is a dollar no matter how much you buy. There are cool ones on there. You will love it!
okay I knew you in your teen years and I never thought you were snobby. I thought you were funny and very nice! Pam and I were just reminiscing over fond memories of growing up in the H.S. ward...remember the time that we were watching that church video and you yelled out "Good Lord, that's my Grandpa!". Good times :) It still makes me smile thinking about it!
