Yesterday was really nice. The girls and I went to Sheridan and watched Jessica in her track meet. The weather had really cooled off so it was a great temperature to be outside. I had no idea track meets were so long. Being outdoors so much did nothing good for my allergies, but it was really fun to watch Jessica run. She seemed disappointed with her performance, but if I had done half as well as she had, I would have probably had a heart attack on the track. She was great.
The girls behaved very well too. We were set up in the middle of the football field under a tent when we got there. I looked up at the trees a little bit in the distance and noticed that there was a lot of wind there. Then I looked to my left a little bit and noticed that the wind was coming our way. Within about 10 seconds, the leg of the tent had smacked me in the left arm as it was lifted into the air. I grabbed Keali and the leg of the tent in an attempt to keep it from flying away...it was a tent from Heath's clinic (think the type of tent you see at tailgate parties, only industrial). It took me and four other people to keep it right side up. Two other tents were twisted into oblivion a little ways away from us. It was exciting for a few minutes!
The girls just ran around the field all day and they loved it. There were no temper tantrums and I only had to remind Kalyn to hold it down once or twice.
Richie arrived a while after we did, and it was nice to visit. I woke up really dizzy this morning and it has not gone away yet. Heath has left for a meeting, but should be back shortly. I hope my balance problem goes away quickly!
