So...

While Kalyn, Keali, and I were driving to my friend's holiday drop in last night, Kalyn began singing this song that she sings often. I have never been able to identify the words that she sings. Well, she asks me to sing with her so I begin to ask her what the word is, repeting it each time she says it. After about 7 attempts to identify this mystery word, Kalyn finally said, "Mommy, just wait until you are as smart as me. Don't worry about it now." That little toot!
We had fun visiting with old friends and meeting new people. Ray and Kelly are great. I have missed talking to them. I worked with Ray at MTSU, but haven't seen them in about a year and a half. I didn't realize that I was just about an hour away from them. They are expecting their first baby next week and I am happy for them. What an exciting time!
Kalyn and Keali have their second flu shot in the morning, and Heath has to go up to his clinic. We also have his clinic holiday dinner in the evening. It will be another busy day. I love this time of year. I love the colors of the holidays and the music and aromas. It makes me happy.
I have been having a difficult time sleeping for the past few nights. Every time I try to sleep I start remembering things about my Grandparents and my childhood. The memories keep me awake as I move from one to the next.
