Ouch!

I was stung by a wasp this afternoon.  I don’t believe I’ve ever been stung by a wasp before.  It hurts!  My hand is slightly (very slightly) swollen, but hurts like it’s been banged by a hammer!  The experience was all bad though.  The stinging (or incident) occurred at the exact moment a lightening bolt flashed above me.  I thought for a moment I had been struck by lightening.  Did I mention it hurt?  I quickly saw the offender fly away though and came back to my senses.  It hurt.

Anyway. 

Tomorrow morning we take Kaci for her MRI.  It’s just precautionary after her shakes she had a few weeks ago.  We have to wake up earlier than human nature usually requires, drop the kids off, and then drive a couple hours to the hospital.  It should be a long day.

Once we get home, we have my staff coming over for dinner.

One of my favorite shoes is Everybody Loves Raymond.  I know it is in re-runs now, but I just love it.  I was watching last night when Kalyn came into the room.  Robert was saying something negative about Ray and Marie, Frank, and Debra were agreeing.  Kalyn asked, “What is this called?”  I told her.  She then said, “Maybe they should call it Everybody Hates Raymond.”

My baby is so smart.  And she is leaving me in less than a month to attend Kindergarten.  Why!!!!!!?????
