When Kalyn was a baby I was singing to her. She placed her hands on her ears and screamed.
Tonight I was singing to Kynan. His lower lip puckered and he started crying. And not because he was so moved by my voice. He was terrified.
Maybe I should stop singing?

don't feel too bad Brock never lets me sing to him! Now he'll say sing a song mommy and when I get the first word or two out he'll say ugh....stop singing! Kids are wonderful for a girl's self esteem!
Hee Hee that makes me laugh. My girls cover my mouth with their hands, and I've been told I have a nice voice, so I think it's just that I'm "Mom" and I'm just not cool. Maybe it's the same for you.
