Wow. I just spent a half hour writing a post where I got on a soapbox about Facebook and its various evils. When I was done, I erased it all. We have all heard the good and bad things about social networking sites like FB and My Space. I don't need to bore any of you with repitition. I do wish people would edit their stuff though.
And how do you handle ignoring a friend request from somebody you really don't want to be 'friends' with because you REALLY dislike them, but to diss them outright like that could potentially harm your career in the future? That is where I am stuck right now.
This morning I got both girls ready for school (and there on time!) by myself!! I was so proud of myself, but more proud of Kalyn and Keali. Heath had a later than usual night yesterday so I didn't want to wake him to help me--plus he hasn't been feeling well.
I got up, woke the girls up and got their clothing ready. I had to physically dress Kalyn because if left to her own devices she would remain nude 24 hours a day. I then asked Keali to come over so I could dress her. She threw a fit and ran to her room to cry. Whatever...I needed a shower so I did that. When I was finished, there was Keali--COMPLETELY dressed in the clothes I had picked out. Heath was still asleep and I knew if Kalyn had tried to 'help' Keali, I would have heard the commotian. I asked Keali if she dressed herself. She gave me the biggest, proudest smile and said (in an exasperated tone), "Well, I AM a big girl!" So cute. And helpful!

There are some perks to not having a facebook account. My MOM of all people is constantly bugging me to get one.
Don't you love it when your mornings work out and your girls do something great in the process.
