It has been a very long day filled with hugs, kisses, and loud little voices.  Kalyn and Keali haven’t stopped talking for a minute (except for Keali when she took a 15 minute nap).  We woke up around 8 and I made ‘coloring’ pancakes for breakfast.  I cleaned up the kitchen while Heath got the girls ready.

We had some errands to run so we did that, then came home and I made fajitas for lunch.  They were very good!  Then I took a 2 hour nap.  It was heavenly!!  Next we took Keali for her very first haircut.  She cried the whole time—“I want my Mommy!”  I was sitting 1.5 feet away.  We just got home from running a few extra errands, and now Heath has left to watch a UFC fight and the girls and I are having a late ‘girls night.’

We are eating pizza (yeah, I know it is 9 pm) and watching 101 Dalmatians.  I am excited about the movie because I haven’t seen it in years and I don’t think the girls have ever seen it!

Some funny things recently:

At my baby shower, we had pink and blue balloons.  We brought them home and who would have guessed Keali had an incredible fear of helium balloons (flying balloons as she calls them)?  I brought them in the door and she turned around, saw them, jumped, screamed, and then started that frantic, panicked cry that is terribly upsetting to mothers.  I got the balloons away, and asked Heath if he knew about this phobia.  He didn’t really get it until I pulled the balloons out again.  Her reaction was even worse!  I had to hide the balloons in the back room.  Poor baby!  Funny though.

Okay…that is one funny thing.  I am too tired to remember any more right now, but they will come to me shortly!
