Wow. I am happy to say I am one of those people who has had no problems after a root canal!
My tongue hurts where it was ripped, and my mouth is a bit sore from being open so long (and that horrible x-ray machine), but I am great! No gum or tooth pain. I'm very happy it was a success!
I had a baby shower last night--hosted by Shannon and Melissa. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it a lot. It was held at the church and they did a great job with the refreshments and games. This is my first baby shower ever to be hosted by family, so that made it extra special and I appreciate everything that went into it. Heath's Aunts Marty and Becky came, as did many women from church. It was nice to see everyone!
Jaime and Lucas had their baby boy yesterday afternoon. He is having some problems, but I hope all will be well--keep on with the prayers! Kreston was born about six weeks early and is having to experience some things that even most preemies don't have to, so my heart is with him and his parents. I hope to be able to see him soon though.
My own two children and two babies are as busy as ever. Keali had her first morning of "I don't want you to leave Mommy!" and secretly, I LOVED IT!!! I know it was just because she was extra tired, but still. She clung to me and for somebody who doesn't get clung to very often, it was nice! I'm sure she forgot all about me about 30 seconds after I left though :)
Kalyn is the "old pro" when it comes to leaving Mommy, and she had some sound words of advice as we left Keali. "Don't worry Mom (she calls me Mom now), Keali will get over it."
