Okay. I am trying not to get too excited--after all, the last time this happened, it ended in anger and frustion.
We got a phone call last night.
Our house in Benton is under contract!
Hopefully by this time next month we will be about to close and we won't have any pesky problems with buyer's ex-husbands, loan approvals, etc. The buyer is pre-approved for everything and we don't forsee any problems. Hopefully everything will be textbook and we can finally have this chapter of our lives closed!
It would also make an unpaid maternity leave a lot easier!
Yesterday after work, Heath picked me up and we went to get the girls he had left at his Mom's house. His car was not working again and still stuck in Paragould (he and Tim have gone up there this morning to try and get it). We got the girls and came home.
I love my Mother In Law! Thanks to her, the girls had been playing all afternoon, both inside and outside...but mostly outside. They had run around and played in the kiddie pool and sprinkler. Anyone who has small children knows that a combination of sun and outside fun equals exhausted children!!
Keali fell asleep on the way home--it wasn't even 6 pm. I put her to bed when we got there and shockingly, she didn't wake up until 6 am this morning. Kalyn was very very tired, but not willing to go to sleep so she snuggled Heath for a little while and watched tv, then snuggled with me for a little while. We put her to bed around 8 without any problems. Heath and I watched, "So You Think You Can Dance" and were both asleep by 10 pm. It was so nice!
