It's Friday! I've been looking forward to today for the past 2 weeks. Today is my first appointment with my Dr. since discovering an additional little something during my ultrasound. I have a looooooong list of questions and concerns to discuss so I am looking forward to getting some answers and/or reassurance. Hopefully we will also be able to take a look at the babies to make sure everything is okay. I've had a couple scares in the past couple weeks, so I would just like to KNOW that everything is okay.
Yesterday, Kalyn was supposed to have t-ball and it would have been the first game Heath has been too. Kalyn was SO EXCITED about her Daddy watching her play. Alas, the game was cancelled due to rain (why is it raining so much anyway?). Kalyn and Heath were both heartbroken. It was really sad.
Instead, we took the girls to CiCi's for dinner. Then all craziness broke loose and the girls forgot how to behave completely. When we got home at 7 pm, they both went to bed (a bit unwillingly to tell the truth), and Heath and I got to spend a couple hours together before I passed out.
This morning, both girls were well rested and happy. I think I like a 7 pm bedtime!
I'm done cleaning my staff's offices. You might as "why are you cleaning somebody else's office, Melissa?" My answer would be, "because they are all incapable of understanding how to properly clean an office." My staff should keep paperwork for no more than 1 academic year. Yet, I found paperwork from 1997!! That was 12 years ago!! They also should be able to dust their offices, so why did I have to scrape cemented on dust off the window seals? Or vaccume carpet that hadn't been touched in at least 5 years? Because they are all incapable of cleaning properly. Well, all but one. Danielle did a great job.
The night before last, Heath and I watched Star Trek. I LOVED IT! It was great! I have never been a big fan of the shows, but I have watched all the movies. This one took a completely different spin and now there is so much room for re-inventing the series! Bones was my favorite--he was hilarious! If you haven't seen it, take some time to go out to the movies.
Happy weekend!
