WOW.  I had a doctor's appointment yesterday.  He gave me a new medication to try.  I started it this morning and had a VERY strong reaction to it.  First I became nauseous, then my head, sight, voice, skin started to feel fuzzy.  Heath says I was stoned. He had to go to work, but didn't trust me to be able to take care of the kids so he asked his parents to come babysit me.  They have been here for a couple hours.  My head is feeling better now...I am able to think and speak normally.  I can even walk in a straight line.

The doctor warned me I might get nauseous--but he didn't warn me about the other side effects!  He said after 2-3 days of taking the medicine the side effects should go away.  I hope so.  I will take it for a couple more days, but if I still feel so yucky, I will stop and ask for something different.  I couldn't do anything.  I was hyper-aware of what was going on around me, but I couldn't interact.  I hate not being in control of myself.  I hate it.
