More problems with HP. They are threatening to charge me for the first monitor I never recieved!! I just spent an hour and a half being transfered to 7 different people. 7. They promise me that it has been taken care of, but refused to give any identifying information about themselves for me to use against them when I find out they screwed up AGAIN! "Eeet eees eeeen the cays fyle Meeees Laaammm." That Hindi for "it is in the case file Mrs. Lamb." I am so angry I am shaking.

Don't let them hear the anger - it pisses them off and you'll get passed around and nothing will get done. DO remain sweet and ask to speak with their supervisor. Always ask for a name and a rep ID - they all have them no matter what they say...don't let them off the phone until they've given you some sort of identification. There's always a supervisor too, no matter what they tell you. Stay on the phone. The super has a super too...go to the top if you have to. They're screwing you over because they think they can. Don't let them. If you hang on long enough, they'll give you what you want.

Do what Jennifer says but you get your anger out another way!! don't keep it in. Go kick the couch...just make sure you kick the soft sides.

also, i'm sorry about HP and their frustrating habits--my laptop is HP and i understand when you say that tech support really doesn't live up to its name.
