I am so close to being finished!  All I have left to do is the bottom kitchen cabinets, caulking the bathtub, cleaning everything, cleaning the carpets, coming up with a solution for the closet doors (we had the hinged doors but they didn't work correctly so we removed them), painting outside, cleaning the fireplace and oven, and fixing the hallway light fixture, defrosting the deep freezer (where am I going to put all that food?).

Tomorrow the EQ are coming to help load up the truck with all our stuff, then the house will be basically empty.  Heath will be here this weekend and we will fix the window seat together and work on the closet doors and cleaning the carpets.  I think we can get all this done and I will meet with the realtor Monday to finalize everything.  With any luck I will be in Jonesboro for good on Tuesday!

Boy am I tired!  My back is still really stiff, but it isn't anywhere near as bad as a couple days ago.  If I can get the cabinets finished today, I will be able to sort of take it easy.

Isn't it funny that sometimes you don't get the house looking like you want it to until you move and are forced to make it nicer?  I am loving how our house looks...and I won't even get to enjoy it!  Hopefully it sells quickly though.

The girls are sort of over my being away.  It isn't really effecting them.  Neither one will really talk to me for more than 30 seconds on the phone one time a day.  There are better things for them to do I guess.  In all fairness, they are very young and don't understand the significance of a move or the aching heart of a mother...they just notice that something is different.  Fortunately for them, Mamaw and Papaw are there to create plenty of diversion!  That makes everything better I guess.

We did the same thing to our last house when we were selling it. You get it just how you wanted it the whole time you were living there and you don't even get to enjoy it!! It stinks! You are quite the trooper to take on all of that by yourself!! Good luck with everything!
