Okay...first things first...
Happy Birthday Papaw!!
Today is Heath's Father's birthday, so I hope he has a wonderful day!
Second things second...
I have been informed that what I previously called a 'roach' is actually a water bug. I told you I didn't have roaches! But water bugs sure to look like roaches on steroids.
Friday evening the girls and I headed up to Andrea's house for a girls weekend. Andrea, Elizabeth, Amanda, Jessica, and Kaylee (I don't know if I spelled that correctly, but she is Jimmy's oldest daughter) were already there. We had a really fun time playing Wii, talking, and watching movies together. We watched Dead Silence, and everyone got really freaked out (Kalyn and Keali were asleep). And boy can Kaylee scream! I mean really loud...she may even scream louder than I do.
When I tried to put both girls into their sleeping places, they woke up several times so it took forever to get them to go to sleep. Keali woke up right as I was going to bed. And she never went back to sleep! So you can guess that I didn't either. Around 9:30 Saturday morning I was able to take a 45 minute nap. Keali got sick Saturday morning so we had to leave Andrea's earlier than we wanted to, but she was really sick. On the way home, Heath called and told me his parents were in Benton.
When we got home we visited with them for a little while then they went back to Jonesboro...Kalyn and Keali were so excited to see them though. I wish they could have stayed longer. When they left both girls went to sleep, but I couldn't fall asleep because my throat hurt. I hurt it the other day while screaming about the water bug and the beetle that was dropped on me. So I didn't get a nap. Heath was at a baptism and on the way home he picked up some cough drops for me.
We hung out as a family together until bed time. We put Keali to bed, Kalyn to bed, and then Heath and I fell asleep. All by around 9 pm. I and once I fell asleep I didn't wake up again until Heath woke me up at 9 am this morning.
Keali is still sick this morning, so I am staying home from church with her and with Kalyn. Shhhh.....nobody tell Kalyn that today is a church day. She would get so mad at me if she knew she was missing nursery! I think we are all still exhausted (I saw on tv and read that you can recuperate from lost sleep if you make it all up minute for minute...I have only had about half so far), so I imagine a fairly lazy day being with my kids. I love spending time with them. We had a fun time with Andrea and the girls and visiting with Heath's parents. In all...even with the sickness, it has been a great weekend!
