So....It's Wednesday. Not much going on around here. I have had an upset stomach for a few days...maybe I ate some bad tomatoes or something. We are still working on Kalyn and her behavior, but Heath did manage to take Keali and Kalyn shopping yesterday so I could rest a bit. They had a nice time and both girls got goodies.
Heath had to wake up extra early this morning to take the missionaries to transfers in North Little Rock. He got home a little while ago.
I had dreams last night that I was bitten by a couple dogs. I was bitten rather badly. This morning I went to do some laundry and my dogs ran into the house at the sound of somebody in the kitchen. They made me very nervous. Since I was a child I have been terrified of dogs. I had some bad experiences with a chihuahua named Daisy, and a couple doberman pinchers while trying to deliver AVON booklets. I have been scared of dogs for as long as I can remember. So why do I have three?
We got Krypto as soon as we had a place to live that allowed pets (we bought our own house). We had been visiting pet stores for years because Heath likes dogs. On our trips to the store, Kalyn fell in love with puppies so when we finally had the opportunity, I caved to make my husband and young daughter happy. And they were!
Unfortunately, I also felt that Krypto got bored and lonely sometimes (I may not like dogs, but I certainly don't want any of them to be unhappy). So when Heath called and told me that he had found a baby Jack Russell Terrier that needed a home (he was the runt of the litter and couldn't be sold due to a hernia), I agreed that we could get the dog. But only if I could name him. I already had a child and one on the way as well as a dog with names associated with Heath's beloved Superman, and I did not want another one. So I chose as un-Superman like a name as I could think of. Bernie.
Well, time went on. Krypto and Bernie loved each other so much. They enjoyed one another so much that though they each had their own beds, they always slept together. They would lounge out of the lawn right next to each other. It was cute.
Then Heath decided that he couldn't go on without a little chihuahua. The decision to get a chihuahua was the hardest for me because of my many encounters with Daisy. But the look on my husband's face when he saw this little chocolate chihuahua melted my heart, and I took the initiative to purchase him. So that is how we got Coca-Cola. Three dogs. I still don't like dogs...they make me very nervous, but I may just have a soft spot in my heart for these three 'puppies!'

I can't believe how loving and giving you are!
I guess I'm glad Dave doesn't like cats because I could not make the same sacrifice.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I'm going to start selling them from my blog - I think I'll charge $21 for the personalization. I think people will pay that much for them.
