I went to work this morning, then when I got done, I headed over to our friend Mike's house. Mike was having a barbeque pool party in his back yard. I got there and Heath and the kids were having a blast. Kalyn LOVED playing with all the other kids, and was a water beetle! She loved the water...except for when her Daddy tossed her in the pool and she went under (not to worry...both Kalyn and Keali had some serious -and efficient-floatation devices keeping them boyant). Keali didn't care for the water too much because it was kind of cold. Later this summer when it has heated up I am sure she will love it.
I really enjoy watching my children having fun. The most beautiful sound in the world to me is a child singing and laughing. I heared a lot of that today!
We came home mid-afternoon. Keali had fallen asleep in the car and didn't even attempt to wake up while we brought her in, changed her diaper, and put her into her crib. Kalyn made an attempt to stay away for a while, but eventually lost that battle. Tonight Heath is going back to Mike's to watch the UFC fight while I get to stay home with the girls. I am looking forward to it. I love snuggling up with my kids!
