What a night! Despite how exhausted I was, I didn't get to sleep until after midnight last night. We had some really severe weather. Some 14 tornado sirens sounded between 8:30 and midnight. We had a tornado touch down one mile from our house. Kalyn and the dogs didn't handle it too well. I have heard there is quite a bit of damage, but we were blessed to not have experienced any of it. The worst of it for us was that our gates were blown open and our trash can floated to the back yard somehow.
I haven't seen the damage yet elsewhere, and I haven't heard the extent of it. The storm hit us dead on, then the line of storms behind the initial one hit us dead on too. We have been very blessed. This is actually the closest I have gotten to having a tornado near my home...and it isn't something I would like to experience in the future.

Oh Melissa, we re praying for your family and the families out there. Congratulations on getting the interview done the best you could. It sounds like you did amazing. Waiting must be hard but know that whatever happens is what Heavenly Father believes is best for your family.
I really hope you get it, that way I get to see you :-)
