My little Kalyn-Pooh has a permenant plumbers butt. Her little crack is always showing...it doesn't matter what we do! We have tried larger pants. We have tried smaller pants. We have tried various types of undies. Nothing helps. Some of you already know that her butt is a weird shape. You can't really tell by looking at it, but her swimming suits and panties always ride up her right cheek. Again...nothing we can do about it. Weird.
Kalyn and Keali were watching "Arthur" today. They were talking about fire drills and I remembered how much I hated them in school. They were always so loud, and anyone who knows anything about me knows that I do not like loud sudden noises. I lost many a pen, pencil, crayon at the first sound of a fire alarm. I almost put a guys eye out once when the alarm went off and the pen flew towards his face. Then there was the time when I was student teaching...
There was a button on the wall near the door. Nobody ever told me what it was and I didn't ask because I didn't want to look stupid. One day right after lunch, when the classroom was empty I finally plucked up the courage to touch the button. I didn't touch it very hard, but the second my skin touched the metal, the fire alarm sounded. To this day I am not sure if I actually set off the alarm or if somebody else did. I played dumb about the whole thing...I was too embarassed!
Last night was a new first for Kalyn. She woke up in the middle of the night to go potty! She hasn't ever wet her bed, but she hasn't woken up to use the bathroom either. About 2 am she came into our room...hysterical. She couldn't get the light on in the bathroom (and we can't use a nightlight...it won't work). I got up with her then she came back to bed with me. Heath spent the whole rest of the night getting slapped in the face. I spent the rest of the night getting kicked in the back. I woke up so sore and as tired as I had been before I ever went to bed! Kids are fun!
In my spare time, I have been messing around with Photoshop. Here is my first project.

It must be in the genes. Katherine (Richard and Jennie's girl) has a really bad plumber's butt. Grandpa Reed threatens to spackle the crack. Richard and Jennie have tried pants with an adjustable waist but it doesn't work. I wonder if wearing boys pants in the "husky" size might work. I'll have to get some for Katherine and test it. Good luck! -Luana

Gabby (Trish's little girl) always shows crack. We are always telling her to say no to crack, she has shown it since she was little. It is worse in pants than shorts :)
