If you are a homeowner, you know that there is always something else that needs to be done to/for your home. A bit over a year ago, Heath and I did some roof-work. There was an 'iffy' spot on the roof. The 1st counselor in our Bishopbric is in the roofing business and graciously helped us out with it. Okay...he did it and Heath and his brother Brad helped out. We were left with two instructions when our roofer left. Fill the nailholes and paint the new wood. One year later...I finally painted the wood. Why did it take so long? Weather at first was a factor...you can't paint when it is always moist outside. Then we simply forgot about it. I remembered yesterday and I painted the wood (Heath has a fear of heights...I actually had to fix the turbines on top of the house when I was pregnant because Heath just couldn't get up there--I didn't mind. Roofs don't bother me)while Heath played with the girls and the dogs. He also helped me move the ladder--it is kind of heavy. It was a nice day.
Today we are going to plant a couple of beans. Kalyn wanted to plant some beans so we are going to. I don't think they will grow--but maybe! Kalyn would be tickled pink if it actually grew. Our roses are about to bloom--They are about the only thing I haven't killed. The plants Mom brought me a couple weeks ago are still alive, and have actually grown a little, but I need to get some fertilizer for them. I think I have bad soil!

I'm not afraid of heights. I'm afraid of falling to my death.
