Here I am on a Saturday...a single parent. Heath is at a conference all weekend. I know I shouldn't complain--so many people care for their children on their own most of the time. I always have Heath's help in the mornings though, so to have him gone for a full day is like culture shock for me. Today I will need to keep the girls alive, clean up around the house, and do some laundry. If I have an extraordinary amount of energy, I may even mow the lawn this afternoon while the girls nap. We will see! It rained last night so the ground may be too wet still.
Have I mentioned before how beautiful my kids are? Kalyn has been giving me little grins all morning. She is getting more and more playful the older she gets. She is either up to something, or she just wants to see me smile. Either way, I love watching her!
Kalyn keeps instructing me on anatomy. Apparently she has a bone in her leg...but doesn't have bones anywhere else in her body. The blood in her leg is red, but the blood in her arm is blue. Funny how these things happen. She has a beautiful smile...I wish I could get it in a picture!
