I have gall stones. We are now waiting for my doctor to find the general surgeon who can get this blasted gall bladder out of me the fastest. It is bad enough that it has to come out asap, but not bad enough for emergency-quick surgery. Thank goodness...I can't imagine what it would feel like if I was an emergency case! The vicadin takes the edge off, but doesn't take away the pain, so the most comfortable position for me is sitting propped against a bunch of pillows, strategically placed, then not moving...at all. It will be nice to have this over with.

Thank you for the prayers and kind thoughts!

Well, even though I didn't pray for you to have gall stones as requested, I am happy that this is at least something that can be fixed quickly. Love you and hang in there.
BTW...how do you get gall stones?

Well...we think Dad has you fixed up at the hospital. He made a couple of phone calls and your anesthesia service has been mapped! So, you should get cart blanche. I'm so glad to hear that they are planning laparoscopic removal. You will have very little "downtime". That's a plus and since the bad gallbladder will be gone..you will feel so much better. I know you might be a little nervous...but many prayers are going up for you...we love you...talk soon...Love you
