The girls and I had a nice visit with my Mom and sisters yesterday. We even got to spend some time with Eva! On the way home, Kalyn (expert at everything) informed me that red lights mean stop. I agreed. We were driving down the highway going about 70 miles an hour when she started screaming at me to stop. There were red lights all over the place. I explained that the taillights of cars are red to let you know that they are there...you don't have to stop until the lights get brighter. I continued to be 'schooled' in the fact that red always means stop...no matter what. I finally told Kalyn that I knew how to drive and she just needed to let me do it.
My Father-in-law got one of the jobs at Coca-Cola so we are soooo happy! Our puppy can keep his name too!
Keali is in the accidental phase. She runs into walls, doors, invisible walls, invisible doors. I wonder how long it will last. Kalyn is still in that phase and she is three. Keali has also mastered "uh-oh!" She drops anything (on purpose) and then says, "uh-on!" We are suprised every time! She also thinks that any toy within 5 feet of the kitchen door is supposed to be fed to the dogs (we keep the dogs barricaded in the kitchen most of the time). We have to be quick to retrieve the toys because the boys are not stingy about eating what is dropped to them.
I am hoping to be a domestic diva this weekend and get the house and laundry cleaned. So far I have gotten the girls' rooms cleaned. Half the battle is already won!
Oh...Happy Birthday Baby Luke!! (2 years)
