Yep, it's strep. We got our antibiotics, and luckily we only have to wait 48 hours for the pain to begin subsiding. Until then, the doc said we could take liquid ibuprofen (you know the kind for children) for the pain. She said it would really help. They base the dosages for that on weight. I had to chug half the bottle. I think tonight I will just attempt to swallow a few pills. And while I am talking about pills, why do they prescribe you pills when you can't swallow? My throat is almost swollen shut. At least I only have 48 hours until I begin to feel better. Truth be told, I feel fine except for my thoat. It could be a lot worse!
