I love the family practice doctor Heath and I go to. We almost always can get in to see her the same day we call. Today that is a great thing. I decided last night that Heath and I must see a doctor for our 'colds' because our sore throats are just getting worse and worse. Heath has been around some kids from his school who have strep, and I am sure that one of them has shared that rather nasty bug with us.
On the up side, I only got about 2 hours of sleep last night, but I don't feel that bad about it. I may try to take a nap later on today. When I got up this morning (at the crack of dawn in an attempt to be the first person of the day to call the doctor) I walked by Keali's room and heard her giggling and talking to herself or her toys. I love being a mom! The screaming tantrums, and the disobedience all melt away when I hear my children's laughter or see their smiles. Kalyn's eyes go into a moon shape when she smiles...I love that. Keali's whole face lights up and warms my heart every time she smiles. I guess that one of the best things about being a mother is that I have an instant lift every time I see my children, hear them laughing together or having a conversation, and think about them. I love them so much.
I hope they don't get sick!

I can kinda see Emma in those pictures. I haven't seen her in almost a year!
