One thing that Keali has never allowed herself to tolerate is the act of getting dressed. I don't remember a time when getting dressed has not garnered some form of crying and screaming. Now that she has learned to say "no" her tantrums are really dramatic! She hates getting dressed. Period.
If you were to go into the Bishop's office in the Benton, AR ward, you would see a lovely drawing of lines pointed in different directions on his dry-erase board. Why? Kalyn refused to leave tithing settlement yesterday without first drawing a picture of a humpback whale for the Bishop. He was all too happy to let her draw...other children had left their marks already. In all it was a lovely picture, but did not really resemble the intended target.
One day until we leave for our holiday trip! Today will be full of packing and cleaning and visits from the visiting teachers. Should be fun!
