Good Things

I have the best kids! Today Kalyn walked up to me and crawled into my lap. She put her hands on either side of my face and while looking into my eyes (hers were big with concern) she asked, "Are you sad Mommy?" I said no. She asked if I had an ouwee. I said no. She asked me what was wrong. I said that I was a bit tired and that I was sick and didn't feel good. She smiled really big and said, "I know! Sugars will make it better! I will kiss you!" She gave me a kiss and then triumphantly stated, "You are better now. You aren't tired and you aren't sick anymore." Oh that I had that kind of faith! Truth be told though...I did feel better!
Two things that you should know. If you call me and a strange man answers the phone--don't worry. It is me. My voice is a bit deep right now. Also--I make the best roasted potatoes in the world.
