Wow! Last night was awful! Neither child got a good nap yesterday so I was really looking forward to them falling asleep early and sleeping all night. They had different plans. Keali REFUSED to fall asleep until almost 2 am and Kalyn didn't fall asleep until 12:30 am. It was a nightmare.

At midnight I took Keali to the living room and Heath took Kalyn to the bedroom. The girls were keeping each other riled up so seperation seemed the best technique. These pics of Keali were taken at about 1:30 this morning. She was tired but didn't want to go to sleep.
Yesterday Kalyn fell and scraped her big toe on some bricks. While the wound has finally been determined by Dr. Whinesalot to not be fatal, it has caused Kalyn to become lame. Seriously it is just a scratch, but Kalyn threw a holy fit this morning when I tried to put shoes on her. She says she can't walk because her ouwee hurts too much. When she stands, she does so with her right

foot in the air so as to not put any weight on the wound. Also,

yesterday evening Kalyn was impaled with by a fork in her left eyebrow. She was bringing me dirty dishes and dropped the fork. When she went back to get it, she tripped and fell on the fork and it stabbed her. She is quite accident prone. There is just a small hole in her head now, but at least she isn't claiming blindness.

We had a dr appt for Keali this morning. She does have an ear infection...just as I've been saying for over a month. We got some antibiotics for her, Kalyn asked for a second opinion on her wounds (not to fear--they will heal), and now hopefully we can all take a nice looooooong nap!
