What a weekend!  Thursday we took Kaci and Kynan to the doctor for their monthly RSV shot.  They also got weighed.  Kynan weighed 10 lbs 12 oz!  A chunk!  Kaci was slightly smaller at 9 lbs 14 oz.  They are now on the charts with other 3 month olds!  Small, but there!  Wow.  That was a lot of exclamation marks.  I believe I use them too freely.

Anyway, they both did well with the shot—then we took them to Heath’s ball game.  The kids and I only stayed for about 15 minutes—I was tired and still had to feed/bath/get in bed all the kids.

Friday was a day like any other.

Saturday we met up with Richie, Debi, and Kylee who were up from Texas.  We all (whole family) went to eat, then Debi and I went back to my home to clean and get ready for Sunday.  My friend Patience came over too.  We cleaned everything—and I mean everything.  I was really happy I had spent the entire week prior cleaning up so we didn’t have to do a deep clean yesterday.

While I started cooking, Debi and Patience began to decorate the apartment for Kalyn and Keali’s birthday party.  It looked SO CUTE.  I never would have been able to do it myself and I really enjoyed spending the time with Patience and Debi.

Today we woke up extra early and got ready for church.  Kaci and Kynan were blessed today!

My Mom made their blessing gowns and they were both beautiful.  About 20 minutes after my Mom left for home this afternoon I realized that we hadn’t taken pictures of the babies in their outfits.  It’s okay for Kynan because I still have his, but Mom took Kaci’s with her to fix some things.  Ooops!

Continuing…

They were blessed and it was wonderful!  Our family and friends took up four whole pews!  That is quite an undertaking for a ward in the South!  One of the women at church (Kaylynn Keith Glover) managed to write down the blessings for both babies and gave them to me after Sacrament Meeting.  How sweet!  I had never thought of doing that—but now the babies will have copies of their blessings.  I was very thankful.

Patience and I left after second hour to start cooking the food for the party.  It was SO YUMMY.  April had made a lasagna—she makes the best lasagna I have ever had and that seemed to be the consensus at the party.  Everyone loved the lasagna!  I made Baked Gemelli (another recipe from April) and Thin Spaghetti with Broccoli (a personal favorite of which we have plenty of leftovers—I’m happy!).  Mom brought homemade garlic bread that was so good.  Then we of course had cake.

The party seemed to go much better than last year.  Probably because there were no ill-conceived games that had balloons being stolen or popped.  We were so happy to have all of our family and friends with us.  Of course we were missing a few, but we know they would have been there if they could have been.

Here is a smattering of pictures from today.  I did it in a format I haven’t used before because there are so many pictures.  I’ll figure out whether or not I like it this way.  I’m not sure.
