Heath and I were waiting for an appointment today with the babies.  A little boy—2 or 3 years old said, “Why do they get two babies?  I want two babies!!”  Um…no you don’t.  Then when he could actually see Kynan and Kaci he said, “I want to pet them!”  He was so cute and made me laugh.  Later on at the store, a little girl ran up to the cart where I had the babies and climbed up to oogle them.  Her parents showed up a few minutes later to claim their daughter.  It was funny.

I picked Keali up extra early today so we could pick out her birthday cake—Kalyn found out about it and is, of course, scandalized.  Anyway…Keali had told me she wanted a Thomas the Train cake.  This is an accurate representation of how the conversation at the store went.

“I want Thomas the Train.  No, actually I want Handy Manny.  No…actually I want Hannah Montana.  No.  Actually I want Mickey and Minnie.  No, I think I really want a Spider-Man cake.  No, actually I want Tinkerbell.  No.  I want High School Musical.”

I finally just made an executive decision and chose the Disney Fairies cake.  And I think it is actually the one she wanted all along.
