Brrrrrr!  It’s cold!  Not as cold as some of my poor blog readers, but chilly for NEArkansas none the less.

Staying busy.  I’ve been going to work during the day, then hanging out with the babies, Kalyn, and Keali in the evenings.  Heath didn’t have work yesterday (nor will he today) due to the wintery weather so I have been able to spend a little extra time with him too.

Heath and I are alike in a lot of ways.  We think the same way on all the important things like religion, raising the kids, money, etc.  This is nice.  It has made most of our marriage easier because we don’t have to hash out big decisions.  However. We rarely see eye to eye on the stupid stuff.  Stuff that doesn’t matter whatsoever!  One of those things is furniture.

We currently have a giant L-shaped couch that we both love (he picked it out because he loved it and I eventually grew to love it…it is very comfortable, just not my style).  The couch though is too big for our living room so we have been discussing getting a new one.

Money decision—we both agree that if we can find a couch for a reasonable price we will get one.  Stupid decision—I hate what he likes and he hates what I like.

Last night I finally conceded (as one of us always has to do on this sort of stuff) and admitted that we should just get the type of couch he likes.  We will never ever find one that we both agree on because our criteria mixed together would make a really funky looking couch that I am pretty sure doesn’t exist.

Let me get this clear—I haven’t agreed that I like the couch he has picked.  I still have strong opinions against it.  I just agree that we probably won’t get the kind of couch I want.

Isn’t marriage fun and exciting!!

I just got a new sofa and love seat - leather and they recline. I'm totally in love with them, except you have to have a blanket under your bum because they are freakin' cold!

I hate shopping for furniture. I'm sorry. But I hope the new couch grows on you!

And I hope you're staying warm down there--looks like you don't want a reclining leather couch unless you want a cold bum.

It looks like the whole country is cold! I'm thinking it's time to go somewhere far away, warm and tropical. You in?
