Kynan and Kaci were one month old yesterday! It is hard to believe that it has been a month since they were born. The first few weeks have all been a blur—but we are so happy (and tired) they are home with us now and doing very well.
This morning we tried taking their one month pictures—and our camera broke! Neither baby was too interested in cooperating and this is about as good as the pictures got.
Here they are in their car seats. So small!
Dad came up to J-Boro yesterday to pick up Bryan. He stopped by to see the babies too. They took to him very quickly.
We think Heath found a way to get the babies to sleep—by setting them side by side.
It’s too soon to tell for sure, but it worked for Heath last night and worked for us this morning too. Hopefully it will do the trick.

the pictures of them together on the green blanket are so precious. However, my favorite is the picture of them together sound asleep. They were together for almost 9months, so I'm sure that is probably why they fell asleep so fast when put side by side. I am glad they are both home.
Kaci looks so much like Kalyn in that first picture. SO CUTE!!!!
They are just so cute!!! I wanna see and hold my new niece and nephew!! and I wanna see my adorable older nieces!!
It has been shown many times that babies placed close together (this young) do much better than if isolated. It is contact and love (read- one in the same-) that helps them to thrive. They rest better and do better.
