My extra long weekend with Heath is quickly coming to an end. It’s amazing how dependant I get on having two adults around the house I get so quickly! I’m almost dreading tomorrow afternoon when I will have to pick the girls up from school with the babies by myself! I’ll manage it though.
I’m a single mom at church today. Heath and the babies are staying home—Heath really needs a little extra sleep. I need it too, but I’ve been able to sneak a nap in here and there so he is a bit needier than I am at this point.
I hope the girls are reverent in church. I know most parents believe their child/children are the most irreverent ones—but I am positive mine are. They talk during prayers and that is the quietest thing they do. Any suggestions?

Arg kids and church seem to be an ongoing battle.
Every kid is different, but for my kids I find that the less stuff we bring with us the better they do, so some weeks we bring nothing and tell them we are watching to see if they can earn back coloring.
Works as much as anything else I've tried.
