Kaci is killing me. Her O2 stats have been perfect for over a week. We have slowly been weening her from it for about a week and today the doctor decided to take it off. Now they are dropping. For crying out loud! I know we have to do this at her pace, but does she have to be so slow?
Kynan is now taking every other feeding by bottle and Kaci gets three a day. As previously mentioned, both are gaining weight well. I'm healing well. I don't think you can get enough sleep in our situation, but I did sleep really well last night. Heath said he doesn't know how I do it up in the hospital. Waking up every three hours to feed them (it takes about an hour to do everything) and pumping on top of that. I don't know how I've been doing it either to be honest. I guess it's just that I don't have any other options.
We've gotten to spend a lot of time together as a family this weekend, though I'm ready to scream at Kaltn and Keali. A hospital just isn't a good place for young children who aren't sick! Patienc brought the girls hospital kits--full of fun things for them to do while they visit. They are loving the kits.
