Dispite being little demons sometimes, my daughters are angels most of the time.
I ask Kalyn to hold my hand every day when I drop her off and pick her up from school. One reason is I don't like her running around parking lots by herself, and the other is because I just love holding her little hand. Although it is getting bigger and bigger :(
Lately, she has started to kiss my hand as soon as we join hands. She says, "I know you love holding my hand, Mommy. I'm your baby." It's true. I told her a few days ago that she will never be too old to hold her Mommy's hand. She replied with a playfully exasperated sigh and "I know, I know. I'm always your baby!" She is.
Keali rarely lets a day go by without talking to, hugging, and kissing each of the babies in my tummy. The other night, I was lying down and she said she had a secret to tell the babies. I wasn't supposed to hear it (it's really hard though when she is talking to my stomach and my ears aren't that far away). She leaned in and whispered, "Hi Babies! I'm your sister. When you are born, you will have to wear pants." Not the most profound or heartwarming of statements, but super cute. I got in trouble for listing though.
The other night, we were snuggled up watching Father of the Bride II. The babies were born and Kalyn exclaimed, "They are NAKED!!" I said, "Well, yeah. Babies aren't born with clothes on." Kalyn looked scandalized. She said, "You mean I was naked when I was born?!" "Yes," I replied. She shook her head and said, "I hope you put clothes on me real quick!"
I love my little girls. I wish they would stop growing though.

That is just too cute! I love it when Katherine talks to our baby. It's funny what kids find astonishing.
