Ugh. Still having VPN problems. Late afternoon at work, Justin sent me a huge file and told me to download it onto my home computer, then run it. It is a program designed to rip through fire walls and should fix all my problems. It wasn't hard to install--but it took a long time.
And it didn't work. Ha!
I'm sleepy this morning. Still have some version of insomnia. I fall asleep just fine, but then wake up at some point and can't go back to sleep. Kalyn and Keali were a bit more difficult last night--Kalyn refused to fall asleep in her own bed, but insisted on snuggling me to fall asleep. To be honest--I didn't put up much of a fight. We snuggled for a little bit, then she moved away from me to get comfortable on the pillows. She said in a very sleepy voice, "Don't worry Mommy. My head may be further away, but my feet are still touching you." It was cute.
Keali on the other hand put herself to bed in her own bed. Until Kalyn fell asleep. Then she bounded out of the room just in time for Heath to come home. She ate part of his dinner with him, and would not go to bed. She threw a huge fit when we put her in her room and just shut the door. Maybe it's time to try that pumpkin trick of Jason and Cathy's?!
The problem with Keali is that she takes naps at pre-school, and they are scheduled for fairly late in the day. She sleeps too much there then isn't at all tired when she gets home.
Just before going to bed, Heath gave me a really funny look. It is the look he has when he really wants to say something, but knows what my reaction will be if he does. I asked, "What?" He said, "I'm scared to say." I said, "What!" He said, "I love you." I called him a liar and ask him what again. He grinned and said, "You are REALLY big!"
Thanks honey. I already knew that.
I can't go anywhere now without hearing comments by perfect strangers. "Wow! She is about to pop!" "She's gonna explode any minute." And my personal favorite, "I hope she doesn't go into labor right here." You may imagine their surprise when I turn around and tell them that actually I still have 10 weeks to go. The faces are priceless!

Serves those people right for making comments like that! My favorite is everyday you go into work, church, ect. and they ask, "You're STILL here!" Yes, there's still a whole month or more left people!! Or when family calls you everyday for 2 weeks asking if you'd have the baby yet. Don't you think I'll call you...you're family!! Good luck with the nap thing. We had to totally take it away from Katherine for the same reason. It's a little harder when it's from pre-school though.

I really don't like the last bit. It's hard with the comments people make. Just realize they usually don't understand what or how they are saying it.

Good luck with the nap thing. That's gotta be hard. What's the pumpkin trick? Never hurts to get new ideas. :)
