So.  I am computer illiterate.  For all you computer geniuses out there—I have a conundrum for you.

I have to set up a VPN so if/when I go on bed rest, I can work from home.  Problem number one—my apartment is on the student side of the ASU firewall.  So I can’t connect to my office computer on the staff side of the firewall.

ITS’s solution is to give me a special IP address of my very own.  I have to change it at home.  I do.  I attempt to VPN again—still doesn’t work.  No network connection problems, it just doesn’t work.  I could go out any day now.  This is driving me nuts.

Within 20 minutes of getting to work this morning, I had three people comment on just how much bigger I am today compared to Friday.  It’s like I doubled in size over the weekend.  I feel every bit of it too!  5 more weeks until I can have the babies in the hospital I want to have them in.  6 more weeks until I can deliver safely.  11 more weeks until I’m 40 weeks.  I have an OB appointment Friday.  Keep your fingers crossed that nothing new has happened!

Had a nice 3 hour talk with Bryan this morning.  He was kind enough to let me do some straightening/busy work while we spoke and I was able to re-connect with him while I cleared off a small portion of my desk.  It was a good chat.
