High School Musical is the bane of my existence. Okay. That may be a bit extreme, however, I am completely HSMed out.
Heath called me today with great news. He found a sale on HSM3 dolls! And being the doting father he is, he purchased six of them for the girls. They are in love! We now have a grand total of 4 Gabriella dolls, 1 Troy, 4 Sharpay, 1 Zeke, 1 Chad, and 1 Taylor. Yes. That is a total of 12 High School Musical dolls.
Did the girls really need them? No. Did Heath really need to buy them for his daughters? Yes. He loves to spoil them—he even stopped by the house on his way to a football game so he could give Kalyn and Keali the dolls himself and get to watch their faces. They of course were very excited and I am happy Heath got to have that experience.
Isn’t this why I had children with this man? I always knew Heath would be a great father. From the time we met, I noticed how loving he was with babies and small children. It was never a secret that he wanted kids (good thing I wanted them too!). When we got married, I eagerly anticipated getting to watch him hold our children. Fertility problems arose, and we had to wait a bit longer than expected, but I finally got my wish.
I still cry when I remember his face the first time he held Kalyn and Keali. He has always been so loving and so in love with his children. I’m happy we are having two this time—now I should get to hold at least one some of the time!
I’ve mentioned a few times before that Heath is a very involved father. He has changed diapers, done middle of the night feedings (as many if not more than me), cuddled, snuggled, dressed, bathed, and just about everything else you do with kids. There is no doubt who the favorite parent in this household is! The girls adore him just as much as he does them. That is how it should be.
Love you Honey!! And I guess I’ll forgive you for the six new dolls!! :)
Right now, the girls are singing songs they learned at school—they go to different schools, but they just found a song they both know and they are singing and dancing around! So cute.
Also so cute…though you can’t actually see it? I have a tiny baby bum pushing my stomach out. He/she has been doing it all day and it is making me laugh—I’m happy it isn’t an elbow or a knee! Bums are a lot softer. Not as bony.

I just LOVE watching men doting on their children, especially daughters. There is just something so sweet about watching a man play with his daughter. I'm glad your husband enjoys it so much! Lucky you!
