One is a BOY!!!

One is a GIRL!!!

I got exactly what I wanted.  Apparently, that is what Kalyn said when she found out too!

Baby A is from now on known as Kynan Kal-El.  He is currently the bigger of the two at an astounding 10 ounces!  He also has an impressive heart rate of 156 beats per minute!

Baby B will now be referred to as Kaci Raya-El.  She is a bit smaller than her brother, weighing in at a mere 9 ounces.  She has a heart rate of 149, but her little arms pack a powerful punch when she hits her brother in the head!

Not even born and already fighting!

This morning was so wonderful—getting to see and hear our precious little babies.  The first thing I said when we started was, “Can we just check for two heartbeats first?”  What can I say?  I take after Grandma Hale!  At first I didn’t see the little package Kynan was hiding for us, but eventually I did and I have NO DOUBT he is a boy!  We also were able to get a 2D and 4D video of the babies.

The technician warned us that they would look a bit scary on the 4D, only being 18 weeks old and all.  She wasn’t lying.  Heath said he initially thought he was looking at a ghoul.  I thought it was an alien.  Neither baby has any fat on their fragile bones.  They are just skin.  Who cares though?  They are BEAUTIFUL!!  I am so excited and have randomly burst into tears all afternoon.  I’ve gotten some weird looks for it, but whatever.  They just see the giant tummy and assume that is why!
