Wow. This is my 431st post. Weird.
Tonight Kalyn has her t-ball pictures. The problem is that we can't get the red dirt out of her t-ball shirt!! We've washed it a couple times (never dried it) and are now soaking it in oxyclean. Hopefully that will get the shirt clean enough for pictures.
Why would you wait until the end of the season to take pictures of 4-5 year olds? Don't you know they mess their clothes up?
Speaking of laundry. Our laundry always looks so much better when Heath does is. I don't know what it is, but I can't keep whites white. I can't do laundry anywhere near as nicely as Heath does it. It's been this way my whole life. I am just not good at laundry.
Last night I ate chicken. Yeah. Whilst pregnant, I have the strongest aversion to chicken. But last night we were contemplating what to eat. I'm tired of pasta and all the other 'easy' foods we've been having lately. Not a big fan of fast food right now either. I wanted something 'good.' So I looked in the freezer and saw a bag of frozen skinless, boneless chicken breasts (I NEVER touch raw poultry, so we have to buy the skinless/boneless kind). Heath suggested chicken sandwiches and the thought didn't nausiate me. We cooked them and ate them. They were not so bad, but as soon as I finished mine, the aversion came right back and I had to put the rest in the fridge quickly so as not to get sick.
I'm looking forward to the Welch Family Reunion coming up at the end of the month. Heath's Grandmother on his Dad's side was a Welch. We all get together and eat, talk, play games, for the weekend prior to the 4th of July. We go to a Baptist camp about an hour away from here. They have cabins for each branch of the family (Ronald and Julia's family is so large we don't have to share with anyone else!), and we have so much fun. I am excited this year because I don't have an infant to worry about getting to sleep, and our 2 year old finally likes to snuggle, so getting the girls to go to bed at night shouldn't be too hard.
I love getting together with all the family. We mostly stick to Heath's immediate aunts, uncles, and cousins, but I recognize faces of all the extended family and enjoy seeing them too. It'll be fun! Just 24 days left!!
