Oh I had hoped to sleep in a little this morning. But I forgot I had an appointment at 8 am, so I got up seconds after Heath and helped him with getting the girls ready for the day.
Kalyn started her basketball camp yesterday and Heath said she was very cute. When I got home, she had to show me everything she had learned and seemed very excited, then crestfallen when she had to admit to me that she hadn't 'made a basket.' Never fear though--she was so excited to go back today.
Heath said Keali was super shy--and would only even speak to him when nobody else was around. I think it is funny that Kalyn has never met a stranger in her life (terrifying for a Mom!) but that Keali is so shy. Personalities!
Yesterday was Freshmen Orientation--and what is normally a semi-straightforward afternoon was not. About 20 minutes into what Mark and I are responsible for in the afternoon, we lost all internet. We HAVE to have the internet to do our jobs properly on Orientation days. We spoke to our computer specialist who said that apparently somebody with a fiber optic cable locater was scouring the campus and cutting cables when he found them. I was amazed that there was such a thing as a fiber optic cable locater, and horrified that somebody had nothing better to do with their time than cut them up on a university campus.
Justin must have noticed my confusion because then he said, "Some people call them backhoes." Oh! With all the construction happening on campus, it was bound to happen that a backhoe would find the cables and cut them in half. That was what happend, and it took a few hours to get internet back. By then, most of the new students had left so it didn't do us much good. Anyway--it was a fun afternoon.
Tomorrow is another Orientation, so no sleeping in for me then either. Maybe Thursday?

Wow! That must have been so frustrating! I hope tomorrow goes much more smoothly.

Have you looked into any yoga for pregnancy? That might help with you hips. I'm so sorry!
