So I think I am completely off the influences of my anti-depressants. I can tell that my temper is shorter, I have feelings of isolation sometimes, and often my thoughts don’t flow in a logical order.
That being said, I have gotten excited about the twins! I will get two little babies to snuggle, kiss, and hug! I am looking forward to meeting them sometime in the next 26-28 weeks. Of course there will be a lot of difficult things with having two babies instead of just one, but I will also get to experience the following:
I get two little precious beings learning to say, “I love you Mommy!”
I get to watch my wonderful husband cradle two beautiful babies in his arms.
I get to swell and burst with pride when my children’s teachers tell me how well they are doing in school (I can barely contain myself with Kalyn’s teachers—how will it be when I have two kids to brag on?!)
Kalyn and Keali are friends—and have been since Keali was born, but now I get to watch two new children be friends with one another and get to be friends with their older sisters.
Twins are twice as nice!
I waddle. I look at my pregnant sister-in-law. She is almost 20 weeks and is absolutely tiny. She is naturally very slim and petite. I can’t even tell that she is showing. And I waddle. At 10 weeks, I look like a duck. Yeah, yeah, it’s only when I have growing pains, but my co-workers all laugh at me and really, I laugh at myself.
Today at work, the emergency alarm went off. We had to exit the building immediately. Well—everyone else did. I took a quick stop at the restroom—I didn’t know how long we would be outside! Luckily there wasn’t any real emergency so we were able to come in about 10 minutes later. Everyone laughed at me though.
Here is my latest question for all of you.
I am in a quandary. Disposable diapers or reusable? I am just not sure. I know all of the environment stuff—so I don’t need to hear that, or the financial for that matter. What I really want to know is are the reusable really better?
