I've had several people--including my husband make referrals to twins in regards to this pregnancy.

Doesn't seem like everyone is having twins?  I personally know two women right now who are pregnant with twins.  I myself am a twin.  So I have actually thought about the possibility of having twins.

It is possible.  I have to take fertility drugs to become pregnant (which is why I am never surprised at a pregnancy...they are all planned).  The type of drug I take does increase the chance of multiple babies, though only by about 10%.  Twins skip a generation in my family and since I am a twin, I shouldn't naturally have twins.  Twins don't run in Heath's family.  I don't think it is twins, though that would certainly help explain some things, but beyond not thinking it is twins, I am terrified of the thought of two babies at the same time.

One baby is plenty of work and lack of sleep.  I start to get a panic attack whenever I think about what two babies would be like.

That being said...all babies are blessings and of course I would love to have twins--I would also be completely freaked out.  Heath would LOVE it, but it would make him have daily panic attacks!

Today is our appointment!  Zofran...here I come!

When I was pregnant with my twins I was so much sicker than with when I was pregnant with just 1, not that it means much, you could just be preggers with a boy and that is why it is different.
Congrats!
