And so it begins.
I woke up at 3:50 this morning with Heath getting ready to leave for his conference. He chose to stay home last night to spend some time with us, and then just leave super early in the morning. We loved spending time with him, but I hope he isn't too tired today.
Keali got in bed with me at 7:15 this morning which meant it was time to wake up. I tried valiantly to sleep a little longer, but I couldn't fall asleep--I was enjoying the hugs and kisses from my baby too much! Keali is such a sweetie!
Last night, while the girls were being particularly loud in the car, I sighed and whined, "I can't believe you are leaving me with them alone for two days!" Heath just laughed and stated I shouldn't complain. He's right. Just a couple months ago I left him for 6 days alone with the girls while I attended a conference, and then again the next week for four days. I suppose two days isn't anything! He will be gone again next weekend too, but that still just equals him being gone 5 days to my 10. I'm still coming out ahead. For those of you whose husbands travel extensively--You are very strong and brave. I'm a bit of a wuss.
On the agenda for today is a yummy breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon, apartment cleaning, a few movies, and t-ball practice in the back yard.
Kalyn and I played for a while after work yesterday and it was fun. When she pitched to me, I hit the ball. She yelled, "Drop the bat and run Mommy!" I said I wasn't running. Then she insisted I run. So I did. It was fun to exercise a bit, but my body was really tired by bedtime! Heath joined us after a while and it was even more fun. Today should be a good day.

Good luck! You can do it!
Another question: my hubby is thinking about transferring to ASU to finish his MBA. Problem is that I need to work.
Do you have any advice? I have a BA in journalism...
